Landscape Committee
Saturday, Sept. 26th from 9am-12pm

Fall is here, so our amazing landscape team is getting busy with their green thumbs! Residents wishing to support, meet some new folks, and maybe learn some valuable gardening skills, are encouraged to join the committee on Saturday, Sept. 26th from 9am-12pm as they plant ~60 new shrubs at the intersection of Eagle Ridge and Granite Hills (near Cedar Rd).

Eagle Ridge and Firewise
While hundreds of residents, and many of you reading this newsletter, are still feeling the impact of recent wildfires across Spokane, through family, friends, workplaces and more, we are grateful here in Eagle Ridge to have escaped direct damage. We can be thankful our community completed large fire mitigation efforts along Eagle Ridge Blvd and Cedar Rd over the past year, but this is stark reminder that more work is needed, and danger still exists.
If you aren’t aware or have not yet taken advantage of the benefit, Spokane County offers FREE wildfire risk assessments and mitigation programs to property owners. Please follow this link for more details and be safe:  Firewise – Spokane Conservation District
